Job description
Distance Studio Consultants is hiring a full-time Business Development Engineer in Cairo, Georgia. This on-site opportunity is suited to an engineering graduate with at least five years of business development experience in engineering consultancy, construction, or the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry.
About the Role
Help grow business for a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy by identifying opportunities, building client relationships, and developing persuasive technical and commercial proposals. You will work closely with Architecture, MEP, and Project Management teams and represent Distance Studio Consultants in client meetings and industry events.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the engineering and construction sectors.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, developers, and other key stakeholders.
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals, presentations, and prequalification documents.
- Analyze market trends and identify strategic growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with Architecture, MEP, and Project Management teams to develop competitive proposals.
- Represent Distance Studio Consultants in meetings, networking events, and business development activities.
- Develop long-term client partnerships and support ongoing business growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
- At least five years of business development experience in engineering consultancy, construction, or the AEC industry.
- Strong understanding of engineering services and project delivery.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build client relationships and generate new business.
- Strong commercial awareness and strategic thinking.
- Fluency in English.
