Business Development Manager – Advanced Composites📍 Location: Romeo, MI💼 Employment: Direct Hire💰 Compensation: $110K Base + $150K+ Total Earnings After Commission
QualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a technical discipline.Proven experience selling technical materials/products.Strong knowledge of Advanced Composites.Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.Ability to influence customer decisions and develop long-term partnerships.Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Financial management experience and willingness to travel.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and manage strategic relationships with construction companies, suppliers, distributors, and industry partners.Develop and execute business development and sales strategies focused on Advanced Composites.Drive revenue through new customer acquisition, upselling, and cross-selling.Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities.Partner with product, marketing, engineering, and operations teams to deliver tailored customer solutions.Negotiate and close complex deals while maintaining profitability and long-term partnerships.Manage business development pipeline, forecasting, reporting, and revenue targets.Support customer agreements, supply agreements, commercial agreements, MOUs, and joint development agreements.Identify customer needs and competitive insights to support product development and commercialization.
