Job description
About the role
Managing complex corporate immigration matters for multinational corporations, high-net-worth individuals, and foreign professionals.
Tasks
- Draft, review, and file nonimmigrant and immigrant visa petitions (e.g., H-1B, L-1, O-1, TN, E-2, PERM labor certifications, EB-1, EB-2, EB-3).
- Counsel corporate clients on immigration compliance, Form I-9 audits, and DOL regulations.
- Interact directly with USCIS, the Department of Labor, and Department of State agencies.
- Provide strategic legal advice to multinational companies regarding international transfers and executive relocations.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school; active bar admission in good standing (Florida Bar preferred or eligible for cross-jurisdictional practice).
- Minimum 3–5+ years of dedicated business/corporate immigration practice.
- Deep familiarity with DOL and USCIS electronic filing portals and legal practice management software.
- Strong drafting, analytical, and client communication skills.
- Bilingual (English / Spanish) preferred.
