About the Role
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Operations Analyst to support the operational execution of our Professional Services organization. This role is responsible for maintaining the integrity of financial and project operations by ensuring projects, customer billing, partner payments, and operational data are accurately managed throughout the project lifecycle.Working cross-functionally with Finance, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Project Management, Sales Operations, and Professional Services teams, you will help optimize business processes, resolve operational issues, maintain system accuracy, and drive operational excellence across multiple financial systems.This position is ideal for professionals who enjoy solving complex operational challenges, working with large datasets, improving business processes, and collaborating with global stakeholders in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end operational setup of customer projects following executed sales agreements, ensuring accuracy across financial and operational systems.Maintain project records throughout their lifecycle, including project creation, change requests, engagement updates, project extensions, resource changes, and project closeouts.Review and validate customer billing information, project financial data, and operational records to ensure data integrity and compliance.Audit subcontractor agreements, billing rates, payment schedules, purchase requests, and project financial information to ensure operational accuracy.Investigate and resolve customer invoicing, partner payment, pricing, and operational discrepancies by collaborating with internal Finance and Operations teams.Review time entry pricing exceptions and implement corrections to maintain accurate project financials.Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end operational audits to support financial reporting and system integrity.Analyze operational data, identify trends, and recommend process improvements that enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and improve customer experience.Support cross-functional initiatives focused on process optimization, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.Maintain accurate documentation of operational procedures, business processes, and system updates.Serve as a trusted operational partner for internal stakeholders, providing timely support and resolution to operational inquiries.Contribute to special projects and business initiatives that improve the scalability and effectiveness of Professional Services Operations.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.Minimum 3 years of experience in Business Operations, Financial Operations, Project Operations, Professional Services Operations, Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or similar operational roles.Experience working with ERP, PSA, CRM, or enterprise operational systems.Hands-on experience analyzing operational data, business reports, and dashboards to support decision-making.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, including complex formulas, Pivot Tables, lookups, and large dataset analysis.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.Experience working with cross-functional teams across Finance, Operations, Project Management, and Customer-facing organizations.Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining high levels of accuracy.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within global teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting Professional Services organizations or project-based business operations.Knowledge of project financial management, customer invoicing, purchase orders, subcontractor management, or billing operations.Experience with systems such as Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Workday, Smartsheet, or similar enterprise platforms.Experience performing operational audits and identifying process improvement opportunities.Familiarity with automation, reporting, or operational analytics.Basic knowledge of Excel VBA or similar automation tools is considered an advantage.
