Business Systems Analyst

About the role

Support financial systems operations and an upcoming PeopleSoft-to-Workday ERP implementation.

The City of Minneapolis is transitioning from PeopleSoft to Workday, with the Workday rollout expected to begin in Spring/Summer 2027.

Tasks

• Initially support existing PeopleSoft financial systems and later contribute to the Workday implementation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or Business Analyst
• Strong experience with PeopleSoft ERP administration, support, and integrations
• Experience supporting financial systems and business applications
• Knowledge of banking, accounts receivable, and accounting processes
• Ability to troubleshoot system issues and analyze integrations
• Experience gathering business requirements and documenting workflows
• Knowledge of relational databases, existing SQL queries, and reporting tools
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Preferred: Workday Finance modules and ERP implementation experience
• Preferred: PeopleSoft-to-Workday migration or transition experience
• Preferred: Cognos reporting
• Preferred: ServiceNow incident and request management
• Preferred: Public sector or government experience
• Visa: USC, Green Card, GC EAD, H4 EAD
• A valid driver's license must be shown during the vendor video screening.
• An updated LinkedIn profile is mandatory.

Schedule

• Hybrid – 2 days onsite per week
• 2-Year Contract
• Start Date: Immediate
