We are looking for a Business Systems Analyst for the clinical research and life sciences sector. This person will be responsible for defining, documenting, and managing integration requirements between a clinical intelligence platform and multiple internal and external data sources. The role will serve as the connection point between Product, Clinical Operations, Data, Technology, and external vendor teams.

ResponsibilitiesDefine and document integration requirements between internal systems, external data sources, and a SaaS platform.Create detailed specifications for field-level mappings, transformations, business rules, and error handling.Identify systems of record or authoritative sources for each data domain.Define rules for resolving conflicts, missing values, discrepancies, and duplicate records.Analyze data quality issues and translate them into actionable requirements.Support the definition of MDM rules, entity matching, deduplication, and data stewardship processes.Translate business needs into product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.Create end-to-end process flow and data flow diagrams.Collaborate with Data and Technology teams on integrations involving SQL Server, Databricks, APIs, and clinical platforms.Work with external vendors to ensure integrations meet the defined requirements.Participate in UAT, requirements traceability, and validation activities.Keep integration, data source, and business rule documentation up to date.
Requirements5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or Systems Analyst.Strong experience documenting system integrations, field-level mappings, and business rules.Experience analyzing multi-source data, discrepancies, duplicates, and data quality issues.Ability to understand data schemas, API documentation, and basic SQL queries.Experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria and working in Agile environments.Experience in clinical research, life sciences, healthcare, financial services, or another regulated industry.Familiarity with MDM concepts, including entity matching, deduplication, and data stewardship.Experience using Jira, Azure DevOps, Visio, Lucidchart, or similar tools.Advanced English proficiency.
