Job Overview
A law firm seeks a mid-level Capital Markets Associate to join their Corporate Practice Group in Los Angeles, CA. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated capital markets transactions, including debt, equity, and equity-linked products, with direct client exposure and mentorship.
DutiesHandle '33 and '34 Act matters.Manage capital markets transactions, including IPOs and follow-on offerings.Oversee high-yield and investment-grade debt offerings.Conduct private placement offerings.Advise on corporate governance and SEC reporting matters.Assist with exchange listing matters.
Requirements3-5 years of experience in capital markets financings and governance/SEC reporting.Confidence in managing client relationships.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to prioritize multiple projects under time constraints.Admission to the bar in the state of application.
EducationJuris Doctor (JD) degree.
CertificationsState Bar admission.
SkillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency in legal research and writing.
