Caregiver

Tasks

• Assist with daily living activities (ADLs).
• Provide personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Meal preparation and feeding (when required).
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Mobility, walking and safe transfers (within training).
• Medication reminders (as per care plan).
• Errands and appointments (when required).
• Companionship and emotional support.
• Observe and report changes in health and well-being.
• Follow care plans and maintain confidentiality.

Requirements

• Previous caregiving or home care experience preferred.
• Compassionate, patient and respectful attitude.
• Reliable, responsible and punctual.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Vulnerable Sector Police Information Check required.
• Legally authorized to work in Canada.
• English communication (additional languages an asset).
• Reliable transportation is an asset.
