Job description
Emmanuel Naledi Hwarukwaru is hiring a part-time Caregiver/Nurse Aide in New York, NY. Provide personalized in-home support that helps clients maintain their comfort, safety, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other activities of daily living.
- Take and record vital signs, observe changes in physical or emotional health, and report concerns.
- Offer companionship and emotional support during daily routines.
- Administer prescribed medications and assist with mobility and rehabilitation tasks.
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow health and safety guidelines.
- Document care and communicate with healthcare professionals as needed.
- Work with the care team to support and implement client care plans.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Compassionate communication, time-management, first-aid, and physical stamina skills.
- Caregiving or related healthcare experience preferred.
- First Aid and CPR certifications are a plus.
- Ability to use basic healthcare tools and maintain accurate care records.
Team and Reporting
Work alongside skilled caregivers under the supervision of nursing staff and healthcare professionals. You will report to the Care Coordinator and collaborate with the team to provide consistent, personalized support.
