Cargo Logistics Coordinator – Secunda, Mpumalanga

James is hiring a full-time Cargo Logistics Coordinator in Secunda, Mpumalanga, South Africa. This on-site role supports efficient logistics operations and the timely, accurate movement of goods across the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate cargo shipment planning and execution in line with schedules and applicable regulations.
• Track shipments, confirm delivery progress, and flag potential delays.
• Work with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to resolve logistics issues.
• Prepare and maintain shipping, customs, and inventory documentation.
• Help improve logistics processes, operational efficiency, and cost control.
• Report on logistics performance and recommend improvements in team meetings.
• Support onboarding and training for new team members on logistics procedures.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma required; further education in logistics or supply chain management is an advantage.
• Experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of logistics operations and principles.
• Proficiency with logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• APICS or CLTD certification is beneficial.

Compensation and Employment

Salary: 150000 per year. This is a full-time, on-site position in Secunda, Mpumalanga, South Africa.
