Part-Time Elderly Caregiver (CNA) – San Diego, CA

Care Home is hiring a compassionate, part-time elderly caregiver in San Diego, California. In this in-person role, you will support seniors with daily routines, provide companionship, and help create a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship through conversation, games, and recreational activities.
• Monitor clients' well-being and safety, provide medication reminders, and report changes in condition.
• Support mobility and help clients travel safely within their homes and to appointments.
• Perform light housekeeping to keep clients' living spaces clean and welcoming.
• Communicate with family members and the healthcare team to support continuity of care.
• Attend training and team meetings to strengthen caregiving skills and share observations.

Required Qualifications

• Current, valid California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
• At least one year of personal care experience; experience with older adults is preferred.
• Ability to perform light housekeeping and prepare meals.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills when working with clients and families.
• Basic knowledge of healthcare practices and sensitivity to the needs of older adults.

Team and Work Environment
