Job description
About the role
The Street Worker's Advocacy Project is hiring a Case Worker for its Raising Hope program, a supportive residential program for pre and post natal substance using women and their children.
Tasks
- providing coaching, counselling, advocacy, referrals and crisis prevention/intervention
- engage in goal setting with residents, helping them to identify challenges and supporting them to address these areas and achieve their goals
- participate in case management meetings
- provide transportation to appointments and activities
- engage clients in financial planning
- assist residents with building connections in the broader community to promote continued self-growth and wellness
- ensure the safety of residents and their children through the application of appropriate policies and procedures
Schedule
- The Case Worker also shares a rotating after hours on-call schedule
- Permanent
Pay
- $27.48/hour
