Job description
About the role
Currently seeking a casual cook for our 38 person facility to prepare and serve meals and snacks under the direction of the Full-time Cook Team Lead.
Tasks
- Ensuring food is served on time and at food safe temperatures
- Maintain supplies in kitchen area (refilling and unpacking groceries).
- Wash dishes, pots and pans, and kitchen equipment as scheduled.
Requirements
- If you are familiar with batch cooking, baking, and possess a food safe certificate you may be our person.
- Must be able to move quickly at times.
- Able to lift 50lb stock pots
- Safe food handling course.
- Previous kitchen experience in a residential, commercial or restaurant.
- Criminal Record and Vulnerable sector check is a requirement of employment.
- Valid driver's license.
- Position to commence immediately.
Schedule
- Hours for this position can be 9:30am - 6:30pm or 8:00am - 4:00pm Sunday to Saturday.
Pay
- $21.10
