CCTV Operator

Role Description This is a part-time remote role for a CCTV Operator at Allied Security Ltda. The CCTV Operator monitors live and recorded video feeds to identify and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, and security incidents in real time. This role involves maintaining detailed incident logs, preparing basic reports, and escalating issues according to established protocols. The CCTV Operator follows company procedures, adheres to privacy and data protection standards, and coordinates with on-site security teams or local contacts when necessary. The role also includes routine system checks, identifying camera or system faults, and promptly reporting technical issues to support staff.Qualifications Ability to accurately monitor multiple CCTV feeds, recognize unusual patterns or behaviors, and respond quickly and calmly to potential security incidents.Strong attention to detail, with the ability to keep clear records, write concise incident reports, and follow standardized reporting procedures.Basic technical proficiency with CCTV and video monitoring software, including navigating camera systems, adjusting views, and troubleshooting minor issues.Effective communication skills to relay information to supervisors, security teams, and other stakeholders in a clear and professional manner.Reliable time management skills, with the ability to work scheduled shifts independently and maintain consistent focus during monitoring periods.Understanding of security, safety, and privacy best practices, including handling confidential information with discretion.Previous experience in security monitoring, surveillance operations, or a similar role is preferred but not required.High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in security, surveillance, or related fields is an advantage.
