SOHAIL TRANSIT GROUP LLC is hiring a full-time CDL A Driver in Maryland City, Maryland. Earn $55,000 per year while transporting goods safely and efficiently on designated routes. This is an on-site position for a qualified driver with a valid CDL A license and a commitment to dependable service.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles to transport goods along designated routes.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections to support vehicle safety and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain accurate driving-hour, vehicle-maintenance, and delivery records.
• Follow applicable local, state, and federal driving regulations.
• Coordinate routes and deliveries with dispatchers and team members.
• Assist with cargo loading and unloading as needed.
• Manage shipment documentation and deliver goods on schedule.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• Valid CDL A license is required.
• Understanding of vehicle maintenance and commercial driving safety regulations.
• Local or long-haul driving experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELDs) is a plus.
• Transportation industry experience is beneficial.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Work Environment and Reporting

Work with fellow drivers and dispatchers to coordinate logistics and meet delivery timelines. The driver generally reports to a fleet manager or supervisor, who oversees compliance and operations.
