West Bridge Freight Solutions is seeking a dependable CDL-A Driver / Owner-Operator for contract work based in Chicago, Illinois. In this independent owner-operator role, you will haul freight safely and reliably, coordinate with dispatch and clients, and manage your vehicle and delivery responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport freight to assigned destinations safely and on schedule.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and address vehicle safety concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of driving hours and distances traveled.
• Provide dispatch and clients with clear delivery updates.
• Follow applicable local, state, and federal transportation and safety regulations.
• Manage vehicle maintenance and promptly report issues.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a strong safety record.

Required Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities.
• Good safety history and commitment to safe driving practices.
• Strong communication skills for coordinating with dispatch and clients.
