Chief Procurement Officer CPO

DATEC PNG Limited is seeking a commercially driven Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) to lead and transform our procurement, supply chain, inventory, and logistics functions. Reporting directly to the CEO and serving as a key member of the Executive Management Team, the CPO will play a critical role in shaping supplier strategy, improving profitability, enhancing inventory productivity, ensuring supply continuity, and supporting DATEC's future growth ambitions.

What We're Looking For:
• 10+ years' experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain or category management leadership roles.
• Strong experience in technology/ICT procurement, including technology products, brands, distribution channels, and supply markets.
• Proven expertise in strategic sourcing, category management, supplier performance management, and international procurement.
• Demonstrated success managing complex international supplier relationships and high-value commercial negotiations.
• Strong commercial understanding of gross margin, landed cost, working capital, and inventory management.
• Experience leading and developing high-performing procurement and supply chain teams.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, Commerce, or a related discipline.
• Professional qualifications such as MCIPS, CPSM or equivalent will be highly regarded.
