Well Established west end, not for profit Out of School Care

Tasks

• Develop, implement and lead child care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children.
• Encourage children to express creativity through art, dramatic play, music and physical activity.
• Engage children in fun and creative activities tailored to their interests and needs.
• Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security and well-being of children.
• Ensure physical and emotion safety of the child, while fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment.
• Communicate with families to ensure care plans are being followed and feedback is provided.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Hold a Level 2 or 3 in Alberta Child Care
• Child Care First Aide
• Security Clearance with Vulnerable Sector Act
• Canadian Citizen/ permanent resident / temporary resident of Canada with valid work permit
• Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling, running
• Dependable
• Excellent oral communication/ written communication

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week split shifts between 7am and 6pm
