Childcare Worker/ECE

Tasks

• Providing constant supervision ensuring the safety and well-being of children
• Fostering a positive environment by responding to the needs of each child, utilizing developmentally appropriate teaching and techniques
• Sharing the responsibility of preparing and implementing programs and activities, including reading, storytelling, songs, art, dramatic play and physical activity
• Sharing the responsibility of maintaining the center and its equipment by cleaning, organizing, sanitizing and completing minor repairs
• Guiding and assisting children in the development of healthy eating, dressing and toiletry habits
• Assisting with meal preparation and serving
• Following center policies and procedures as outlined in the SVDC Employee Manual
• Developing and maintaining

Schedule

• Positions offered on a full time or part time basis
• Permanent

Pay

• Negotiable. Based on candidates qualifications and experience.
