Job description
PATRONATO CIBAO DE REHABLITACION is hiring a full-time Driver (Chofer) in Santiago de los Caballeros, Santiago Province, Dominican Republic. This on-site role supports reliable transportation of clients, goods, and services while helping keep daily operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive safely and efficiently to transport clients, goods, and services to assigned destinations.
- Complete routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks, and address minor repairs as appropriate.
- Provide courteous, helpful customer service to clients during transport.
- Keep accurate records of trips, deliveries, and vehicle inspections.
- Follow traffic laws and applicable safety requirements.
- Load and unload cargo as needed and secure it properly.
- Communicate logistical issues, delays, and other updates to team members and management.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license, proven driving experience, and a clean driving record.
- Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and repair practices.
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly, professional manner.
- Ability to plan routes and navigate efficiently.
- Previous experience in a similar driver role is preferred.
Schedule and Team
This is a full-time, on-site position reporting to the Operations Manager. The Driver works closely with other drivers and support staff to address transportation needs and improve service efficiency.
Compensation
Pay: 23000 per month.
