Church Office Administrator Needed

FULL-TIME POSITION

St. Andrew Lutheran Church in West Chicago, IL is seeking a talented, and organized, and welcoming individual to serve as our Church Office Administrator. This full-time position supports the daily operations of the church office, provides administration assistance to staff and members, and helps facilitate effective communication within the congregation.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Answer phones and greet visitors
• In a friendly, professional manner
• Manage correspondence, emails
• In a timely and professional manner
• Maintain church records, calendars, and schedules
• Provide administrative support to staff, ministries, and committees
• Assist with newsletter, announcements, and other publications as needed
• Perform general office duties and assist with special project

• Has excellent communication skills
• An eye for attention to detail
• Is proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Has a heart for ministry

• Maintains confidentiality and exhibits professionalism with sensitive information
• Is adaptable, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities
