Civil CADD Drafter

About the role

Supporting DC Water’s Potomac Interceptor Rehabilitation Program.

Tasks

• Prepare and revise utility plans, profiles, sections, details, exhibits, and civil site drawings
• Develop drawings for pipeline rehabilitation, pipe repair and replacement, manholes, access structures, temporary works, and site restoration
• Incorporate survey data, utility information, record drawings, field markups, and engineering comments
• Coordinate drawing updates with multidisciplinary engineering and construction teams
• Support quantity takeoffs, record drawings, document control, and quality reviews

Requirements

• Experience producing civil or underground utility design drawings
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D and/or MicroStation and OpenRoads
• Ability to interpret civil plans, utility plans, profiles, sections, survey information, and engineering markups
• Strong attention to detail, drawing organization, and revision control
• Experience with water/wastewater systems, sanitary sewers, large-diameter pipelines, manholes, trenchless rehabilitation, or utility infrastructure is preferred.

Schedule

• Full-time project assignment
• Hybrid - three days per week onsite
