About the role
Twgroup is seeking a Civil Construction Foreman with experience supervising construction teams and managing daily site activities.
Responsibilities
- Supervise construction teams.
- Manage labour, plant, subcontractors and daily site activities.
- Read and interpret construction drawings.
- Maintain sound knowledge of health and safety requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in civil construction.
- Proven experience supervising construction teams.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Sound knowledge of health and safety requirements.
- Experience managing labour, plant, subcontractors and daily site activities.
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Reliable and honest, well organised, quality driven, and able to work independently and solve problems on site.
- A strong leader with a positive attitude.
Experience in bulk earthworks, road construction, stormwater infrastructure, water reticulation, sewer reticulation, concrete works, layerworks and pavements, or structural steel works will be an advantage.
