Job description
We are seeking a full-time Civil Engineer for an on-site role in Florida, Uruguay. In this position, you will design and support civil engineering and community infrastructure projects, working with project managers, architects, construction teams, clients, and other stakeholders. You will report to the Senior Engineering Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and review civil engineering plans, ensuring compliance with applicable local regulations.
- Coordinate with project managers and construction teams to support effective project delivery.
- Conduct site assessments and surveys to evaluate land, structures, and potential environmental impacts.
- Prepare and present project proposals to clients and stakeholders.
- Develop project budgets and schedules, then monitor progress against objectives.
- Contribute to planning and implementing community infrastructure improvements.
- Use engineering software and tools to create detailed models and simulations.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- At least three years of relevant civil engineering experience.
- Proficiency with engineering design software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- A Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred but not required.
