About the role
Bronx Documentary Center is seeking a College Success Counselor to support South Bronx high school students with college and career goals and their transition to college.
Responsibilities
- Help students build college lists, write essays, navigate financial aid, and apply for scholarships.
- Provide individualized support to students and families.
- Coordinate college-success workshops and campus visits.
- Help strengthen YPL’s growing alumni network.
Requirements
- Prior experience in college counseling, youth development, or education is strongly preferred.
- Spanish proficiency is a plus.
- 10–15 hours per week; some evening and weekend availability is required.
- In person in the Bronx.
