About the role
MANTECH seeks a career and customer-oriented Command Aware and Radio Systems Administrator to join its team. The role supports administration, data integrity checks, and cross-functional coordination of Command Aware systems, helping ensure tactical communications and data management across the Area of Responsibility (AOR).
Responsibilities
- Continuously update, maintain, and validate critical operational data to support Command Aware coordination efforts.
- Coordinate with field personnel to plan and execute AOR-wide system and data updates.
- Update radios in the Command Aware platform with designated call signs and organize folders with radio user profiles.
- Collaborate with TACCOM staff on updates to the alias database for communication consoles.
- Follow processes for data backup, secure storage, and historical tracking to preserve system auditing.
- Use technical policies, operational procedures, and work instructions to maintain records management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network/Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field and 4+ years of work experience; or a master's degree and 2+ years of experience; or an associate degree and 6+ years of experience; or a high school diploma/GED and 8+ years of experience.
- Experience operating as an IT Systems Engineer or Network & Systems Administrator within a complex enterprise environment.
- Database and lifecycle coordination.
