Location: Puerto Plata, Dominican RepublicFull-time, on-site position
We are seeking a Commercial Assistant based in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, to support the clinic’s commercial outreach and relationship management activities.This is a full-time, on-site position focused on developing and maintaining professional relationships with hotels and tour operators.The ideal candidate will support day-to-day commercial activities, conduct external visits, follow up with clients and prospective partners, assist with communications, and provide excellent customer service. The position requires regular in-person visits, primarily within Puerto Plata, with occasional travel to other parts of the country when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:Build and maintain strong professional relationships with hotels and tour operators.Identify and follow up on commercial opportunities.Conduct regular visits to current and prospective business partners.Assist with administrative, communication, and coordination tasks related to commercial operations.Maintain accurate records of visits, contacts, and follow-up activities.Provide professional and timely support to clients and business partners.
Requirements
Please apply only if you meet all of the following requirements:Strong communication and customer service skills.Previous experience in a commercial or business development role.Proven experience working with hotels and tour operators.Excellent written communication skills in Spanish.Strong written and spoken English.Strong command of Microsoft Excel.Ability to work effectively as part of a team.Knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.Must currently reside in Puerto Plata.Must have valid authorization to work in the Dominican Republic.Must have access to a reliable vehicle.Must be available to work full-time.Must be available Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with occasional availability by phone outside regular working hours and flexibility to work evenings or weekends when required.
