Commercial Data Analyst/Business Analyst

About the role

Support a major data modernization initiative.

The client is developing a new platform using Azure Databricks to replace legacy systems and improve commercial data management.

Tasks

• Lead business and technical analysis for new and existing data loads.
• Collaborate with business and IT product owners on data roadmaps and system integrations.
• Support data governance, data quality, testing, validation, and remediation initiatives.
• Work with commercial data environments, including JJMD and Surgery taxonomies.
• Develop monthly business metrics, dashboards, and actionable insights.
• Perform ad hoc analytics and provide data-driven recommendations to management.
• Identify opportunities to improve data management processes, controls, and system integrations.

Requirements

• 5+ years
• US Citizens or Green Card (GC) holders only
• Strong SQL expertise and hands-on data analysis experience.
• Experience with Azure Databricks, AWS Redshift, PostgreSQL, S3, Oracle, or SQL Server.
• Knowledge of ETL tools such as Informatica and Python-based data processing.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, Python, or PySpark.
• Strong Excel, PowerPoint, communication, analytical, and project management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across business and IT teams.
• Healthcare or medical device industry experience is preferred.
