Job description
Discount AC & Refrigeration of Phoenix is hiring a full-time Commercial Refrigeration Specialist in Buckeye, Arizona. In this on-site role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial refrigeration systems, helping ensure reliable equipment operation and accurate service records.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose problems with commercial refrigeration systems and equipment.
- Repair refrigeration systems and related equipment.
- Detect refrigerant leaks and safely recover and charge refrigerants.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems, components, and controls.
- Perform preventive maintenance on commercial refrigeration systems.
- Document completed service work and maintenance activities.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in commercial refrigeration and HVAC.
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Skills in commercial refrigeration system diagnostics and repair.
- Knowledge of refrigerant leak detection, recovery, and charging.
- Electrical troubleshooting and controls experience.
- Experience with preventive maintenance and service documentation.
- HVAC/R technical training preferred.
