Tasks

• Receive, sort, organize, and distribute pantry food and supplies; monitor inventory and report restocking needs.
• Restock essential supplies for both the pantry and the Community Wellness Lounge.
• Clean and maintain pantry storage, preparation, and distribution areas; keep shelves, tables, floors, and work areas organized.
• Conduct respectful door-to-door outreach about programs, services, events, and available resources.
• Listen to community members and connect them with staff or services when requested.
• Assist with pantry deliveries and other community support activities as assigned.
• Keep basic records of outreach, supply needs, and community feedback; work collaboratively with staff, volunteers, and community members.

Requirements

• Experience in community work, mutual aid, food access, or outreach is a plus.
• Reliable, organized, and a strong communicator and relationship-builder.
• Treats community members with care, respect, and without judgment.
• Comfortable with hands-on cleaning, organizing, and restocking.
• Committed to the organization’s mission and values.
