Community Wellness Lounge Shifter

About the role

Help keep the Community Wellness Lounge and camper clean, stocked, and welcoming.

Tasks

• Set up and prepare the Lounge and camper for service; assist with clean-up.
• Welcome guests and explain available services and basic procedures.
• Clean the Lounge, camper, and service areas; reset shower areas between guests.
• Keep work areas organized and restock approved hygiene, shower, and first-aid supplies.
• Share service and event information; connect guests with staff or resources when requested.
• Report supply needs, maintenance concerns, and guest feedback to the supervisor.
• Follow privacy, safety, and respectful-service procedures; assist with other Lounge activities as needed.

Requirements

• This is an active, physical role involving standing, walking, bending, reaching, and moving supplies, equipment, and cleaning materials.
• Reasonable accommodations may be made for qualified individuals.
• Experience in community-based work, wellness, outreach, or mutual aid is a plus.
• Reliable, organized, and a strong communicator and team player.
• Treats guests with care, respect, and without judgment.
• Comfortable with hands-on cleaning, setup, and restocking.
