Computer Numerical Control Programmer

About the role

Moksh CAD provides services to clients and partners in the stone, tile, construction, architecture, interior design, fabrication, countertop manufacturing, engineering, CAD-CAM and cabinetry industries.

The successful candidate will work closely with sales personnel, template staff and other programmers. The role involves creating and modifying CAD drawings for granite countertops and programming CNC machines. There is no physical work on machines.

Responsibilities

• Manage personal workflow, identify problems and offer solutions, and work well in a fast-paced environment.
• Create and modify CAD drawings for granite countertops according to client specifications, architectural plans and shop drawings.
• Use SlabSmith and AlphaCAM to program CNC machines to cut and shape granite countertops.
• Arrange pieces on selected slabs to maximize yield and minimize waste.
• Collaborate with designers, installers and production staff to ensure designs are accurate and feasible.
• Manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Review and approve final CAD drawings before fabrication and installation.
• Maintain accurate records of design changes and modifications.

Requirements

• Strong English communication skills in reading, writing, listening and speaking.
• Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD, Mastercam and Alpha CAM.
• In-depth knowledge of RoboCut, EasyStone, Pegasus and related tools.
• Experience in the countertop or stone industry is preferred.
• Ability to read customer blueprints and drawings and interpret architects’ specification sheets.
• Competency in Microsoft Office suite and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
