About the role

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking an experienced Computer Systems Architect to support mission-critical defense programs and secure software development environments.

Tasks

• Design, implement, and maintain complex system architectures and development networks.
• Administer and troubleshoot Red Hat Linux systems.
• Implement system hardening and STIG compliance requirements.
• Use Splunk for system monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Develop automation scripts using Bash/Shell, Ansible, and Python.
• Support LDAP/RHDS, DNS/BIND, Windows, and network configurations.
• Work with engineering teams to integrate emerging technologies and maintain secure infrastructure.
• Develop technical documentation and infrastructure support procedures.

Requirements

• Interim Secret at start; full Secret clearance required upon completion of the clearance process
• U.S. Citizenship Required
• Red Hat Linux (RHEL) administration and advanced troubleshooting
• System hardening and STIG implementation
• Splunk
• Bash/Shell, Ansible, or Python scripting
• LDAP/RHDS and DNS/BIND
• Windows operating systems
• System architecture and network configuration
• Preferred: VMware, KVM, Hyper-V, or Red Hat Virtualization
• Preferred: Docker, Kubernetes, or Red Hat OpenShift
• Preferred: System imaging, backup, and recovery
• Preferred: Linux/Unix infrastructure sustainment
• Preferred: iSCSI and advanced networking
