Job description
About the role
Grabinski and Sons is seeking a construction laborer to assist with residential construction and remodeling projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist with interior and exterior door installation.
- Help build and repair decks, stairs, and railings.
- Assist with residential remodeling, framing, demolition, drywall, trim, and general carpentry.
- Load, unload, and move materials; use basic hand and power tools.
- Keep jobsites clean, organized, and safe, and protect customers’ homes and property.
- Assist the crew with daily construction tasks.
Requirements
- Reliable personal transportation and a valid driver's license are required.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check.
- Be dependable and punctual, with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Be able to perform physical labor and lift and carry materials.
- Be comfortable working on ladders and around residential construction sites, indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic construction or remodeling experience is a plus.
- Be willing to learn and take direction, and able to work well as part of a small crew.
