Team members work closely with customers to support their business growth and maintain long-term relationships in the hospitality sector.Role Description The Contralor is a full-time, on-site role based in Cancún, ROO, responsible for overseeing the company’s financial management and internal controls. Day-to-day tasks include supervising accounting processes, preparing financial statements, monitoring budgets, and ensuring compliance with tax and regulatory requirements. The role involves managing cash flow, analyzing financial performance, and providing guidance to leadership on cost control and profitability. The Contralor also coordinates audits, implements financial policies and procedures, and collaborates with operational teams to support accurate inventory valuation and efficient purchasing decisions.Qualifications Strong skills in financial accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting, with the ability to analyze data and provide clear recommendations.Experience in internal controls, audit coordination, and regulatory compliance, including tax and local financial regulations.Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems, as well as solid skills in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.Background in inventory management, cost analysis, and margin optimization in a commercial or hospitality-related environment.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; professional certification such as CPA or equivalent is an asset.Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively on-site with cross-functional teams.High level of integrity, attention to detail, and capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Spanish fluency required; English proficiency is beneficial for working with international brands and partners.
