Job description
About the role
Mi7 provides security and medical solutions in South Africa. The Control Room Operator monitors and controls the safety and security of clients and their assets and helps ensure effective responses to security incidents and alarms.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and control the safety and security of clients and their assets.
- Support effective responses to security incidents and alarms.
Requirements
- Minimum of Matric or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience in control room or surveillance operations in the security industry.
- PSIRA Certification is compulsory.
- Proficiency in security systems and software, including CCTV monitoring, alarm systems, and access control systems. Experience with ‘Listner’ is advantageous.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- High attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, problem-solving skills, and a strong sense of integrity and ethics.
- Must be willing to work shifts.
