Overview Of The Controller Role
Plan and coordinate budget and business planning activities in alignment with corporate policies and practicesEnsure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and year-end closes, and related general ledger and bank reconciliationsPrepare and publish financial statements including budgets, internal and external reports, forecasts, and income statementsCoordinate auditing processesReview and set goals within the organization for continued growth and margin contribution
Preferred Qualifications And Experience For The Controller Role
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceAt least 5 years of relevant accounting or financial analysis experience within a manufacturing companyAdvanced Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUP'sMust be highly computer literate and be familiar with data mining and ERP systemsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage multiple teams simultaneously and prioritize based on deadlines
