Corporate Associate

About the role

Stonegate Workforce Group is partnering with a national law firm to identify a Corporate Associate interested in helping innovative technology and life sciences companies grow.

This opportunity offers direct collaboration with founders, executives, and investors-advising businesses from incorporation and early financing through strategic transactions and exit.

Tasks

• Advise emerging growth companies on corporate governance and day-to-day legal matters.
• Represent companies and investors in venture capital financings and other equity transactions.
• Support mergers, acquisitions, and strategic business transactions.
• Work directly with founders, management teams, and boards as their companies develop.
• Provide ongoing strategic and legal guidance, often serving in an outside general counsel capacity.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of corporate legal experience.
• Meaningful experience in venture capital, private equity, capital markets, or M&A.
• Strong interest in advising technology and life sciences companies.
• Excellent academic credentials and strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• An entrepreneurial mindset, creative approach to problem-solving, and comfort working directly with clients.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
• A technical or science degree is not required.

Schedule

• Full-time

Pay

• Annual salary of $310,000–$390,000, based on class year
