Job Overview
A law firm seeks a Corporate Finance Associate with 3 to 5 years of finance experience to join their office in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will possess stellar academic credentials and comparable law firm experience, and must be admitted to, and in good standing with, the bar of the state in which they intend to practice.
DutiesAdvise clients on accessing and deploying capital and restructuring debt.Represent debtors and creditors in debt restructuring matters.Work with credit investors on structuring credit investments.Collaborate with private equity sponsors on leveraged financings.Engage in domestic and cross-border acquisitions and financings.
Requirements3 to 5 years of finance experience in a law firm setting.Admitted to the bar in the state of intended practice.Strong academic credentials.
EducationJuris Doctor (JD) degree.
CertificationsBar admission in the relevant state.
SkillsExpertise in corporate finance and debt restructuring.Ability to manage complex financial transactions.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
