Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide attentive service at the sales counter.
• Help customers choose tamales and atole, offer recommendations, and answer product questions.
• Process cash and card payments accurately and balance the register at the end of each shift.
• Keep the sales area clean and organized, restock supplies, and arrange product displays.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to support timely availability and product freshness.
• Monitor inventory and communicate restocking needs.
• Support local marketing efforts to promote the shop and attract customers.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• Previous sales or customer service experience is preferred, but not required.
• Friendly communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Comfort handling cash and performing basic math.
• Ability to use basic point-of-sale systems and handheld devices.
• No formal education is required; enthusiasm for food and customer service is essential.
