Hiring Crew Leader for Lawncare & Landscaping in Fenton, MI

Join a growing lawncare and landscaping company in Fenton, Michigan, with a large client base and abundant work opportunities. We are currently hiring a Crew Leader to lead residential and commercial landscape installation and maintenance projects.

Job Description:

• Lead and direct the installation of plants, sod, shrubs, trees, mulch, soil, stone, landscape lighting, garden structures, and other landscape elements.
• Supervise crew members to maximize efficiency, productivity, and quality on landscaping and property maintenance tasks including turf mowing and shrub trimming.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks and trailers with tools, materials, and heavy equipment such as skid steers and excavators.
• Operate hand and power tools safely, including concrete saws, plate compactors, sod cutters, tillers, blowers, and chain saws.
• Maintain clean and safe job sites by picking up tools, debris, and trash daily.
• May assist with snow removal during winter months.

Requirements:

• Highly motivated, punctual, self-driven individual with integrity.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Valid Class E driver license minimum; Class A CDL preferred.
• Ability to learn safe operation of landscaping tools and equipment.
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
• Available to work 40 hours per week.
• Must wear work boots and pants; follow all safety protocols including use of company-provided eye and ear protection.
• No smoking in company vehicles.
