Custodial Supervisor Job in Washington, Missouri

East Central College in Union, Missouri is seeking a Custodial Supervisor to oversee custodial operations ensuring the cleanliness and appearance of campus buildings, facilities, and grounds. This full-time role involves daily supervision and scheduling of custodial staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise assigned custodial staff and coordinate special projects during academic year and breaks.
• Assist the Director with staff selection, retention, promotion, and discipline.
• Enforce safety standards and proper custodial work methods.
• Manage workers’ compensation reporting and assist with related procedures.
• Provide on-the-job training covering safety, equipment, and chemical usage.
• Conduct monthly safety meetings and maintain up-to-date Safety Data Sheets for all chemicals.
• Inspect assigned areas regularly to ensure quality and orderliness.
• Supervise moving furniture and event setups on and off campus.
• Coordinate and assist with snow removal and other facility maintenance tasks.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Completion of an associate degree or equivalent training/experience.
• Over 5 years of related work experience including supervisory roles.
