Customer Service Representative Intern

About the role

Chicken-Hut Africa is looking for a vibrant, energetic, and highly motivated Customer Service Representative Intern for an industrial attachment year. The role involves handling customer inquiries, providing excellent customer service, assisting customers in operations, and ensuring standards are met. It offers hands-on experience and mentorship in customer service and customer support.

Responsibilities

• Order processing: Receive, process, and manage incoming orders.
• Customer support: Respond promptly, professionally, and politely to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-site.
• Public relations: Maintain positive guest relations, handle guest concerns, and resolve issues.
• Product knowledge: Learn company products, services, and menus, and use accurate information to assist guests.
• Customer interaction: Provide information about services and products to customers.
• Administrative tasks: Assist with documentation and other duties as required.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a National Diploma (ND), Professional Diploma, or Degree in Customer Service Management, Contact Centre Operations, Office Management, Marketing, or a closely related academic field.
• Must possess an official attachment/clearance letter from a recognized training institution.
• At least 5 O Levels, including English Language.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and other languages.
• Strong active listening skills and emotional intelligence.
• Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and email communication tools.
• Ability to remain calm, patient, and polite under pressure.
• A strong willingness to learn and accept constructive feedback.
