Key Responsibilities Monitor networks and systems continuously for security breaches and suspicious activities to ensure early threat detection. Identify vulnerabilities through thorough risk assessments and implement effective mitigation strategies. Manage and optimize security tools such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM platforms including Splunk and QRadar. Respond promptly to security incidents, conducting root-cause analysis to prevent recurrence. Ensure compliance with internal security policies and industry standards such as OWASP and NIST frameworks. Conduct regular security audits and penetration testing to validate system defenses and improve controls. Provide security awareness training and best-practice guidance to cross-functional teams, enhancing organizational security posture. What We're Looking For Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Cyber Security roles such as Analyst or Engineer. Strong knowledge of network security, protocols, and architectures. Hands-on experience with SIEM tools like Splunk, QRadar, or ArcSight. Familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security solutions. Understanding of OWASP principles, malware analysis, and threat intelligence. Basic scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Preferred: Security certifications such as CEH, Security+, CISSP, or CISM. Experience with cloud security platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
