TekBricks is hiring a skilled Cyber Security professional in Waxhaw, North Carolina. Join our team to protect organizational systems, networks, and data from cyber threats. You will monitor security systems, identify vulnerabilities, and implement security controls to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor networks and systems for security breaches and suspicious activity
- Identify vulnerabilities and perform risk assessments
- Implement and manage security tools including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM solutions
- Respond to security incidents and conduct root-cause analysis
- Ensure compliance with security policies and industry standards
- Conduct regular security audits and penetration testing
- Provide security awareness training and best-practice guidance to teams
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of network security, protocols, and architectures
- Experience with SIEM tools such as Splunk, QRadar, or ArcSight
- Familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security
- Understanding of OWASP guidelines, malware analysis, and threat intelligence
- Knowledge of cloud security platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP
- Basic scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
