About the role
Neurasol is looking for a Senior Data Architect / Data Engineering Architect with provider-side healthcare claims analytics experience and expertise in Snowflake, dbt, data modeling, and Population Health.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and enhance Population Health data products using Snowflake, dbt, and healthcare claims data.
- Develop solutions leveraging the Milliman MedInsight Transport Database.
- Build population cohorts supporting risk contracts, outcomes measurement, care gap identification, and performance improvement.
- Partner with stakeholders, analysts, and product teams to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
- Serve as the team's Healthcare Provider Claims SME.
- Establish data engineering and healthcare analytics best practices.
Requirements
- Senior- or architect-level data engineering experience.
- Deep provider-side healthcare claims analytics expertise.
- Knowledge of Population Health, Risk Adjustment & Risk Capture, Quality Measures (HEDIS, Stars), Cost & Utilization Analytics, and Value-Based Care.
- Hands-on experience designing solutions in Snowflake.
- Experience with dbt, including reusable data models, testing frameworks, transformations, and data pipelines.
- Strong data modeling background.
- Highly preferred: Milliman MedInsight experience, particularly the Transport Database, including experience with Milliman data structures, healthcare claims data models, Population Health use cases, or the MedInsight Transport Database.
