Job description
Chanakya Dasari is seeking a Data Center Lab Technician (Night Shift) for a contract position in Santa Clara, California. This on-site role supports reliable data center operations through equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and deployment work during night shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain data center equipment to support optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues affecting operations.
- Document maintenance activities and operational procedures.
- Assist with installing, configuring, and deploying servers and network equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on critical systems.
- Work with technicians and engineers to address operational challenges and improve efficiency.
- Follow applicable safety and compliance standards in the data center.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Knowledge of data center operations.
- Experience in a technical environment; data center experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with software and tools used in data center management.
Work Environment
You will collaborate with data center technicians, engineers, and cross-functional teams, and report to a senior technician or manager overseeing technical operations. This is a contract role based on-site in Santa Clara, California, with a night shift schedule.
