TekBricks is seeking a skilled Data Engineer in Waxhaw, North Carolina to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures that support analytics, reporting, and business intelligence. Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes Develop and manage data warehouses and data lakes Integrate data from multiple sources including APIs, databases, files, and cloud platforms Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across systems Optimize data workflows for performance and scalability Collaborate closely with data analysts, data scientists, and business teams Implement data security, governance, and compliance standards Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues promptly Required Skills Strong experience with SQL, Python, or Scala Hands-on expertise with ETL tools such as Airflow, Talend, Informatica, or dbt Proficient in Big Data technologies including Spark, Hadoop, and Kafka Experience working with data warehouses like Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or Azure Synapse Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP Strong understanding of data modeling, data lakes, and data pipelines Knowledge of CI/CD and version control tools like Git Preferred Skills Experience with real-time data streaming Knowledge of DevOps and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes Experience with BI tools including Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field Minimum 2 years of professional experience in data engineering or related roles Location: Waxhaw, North Carolina, United States (On-site, not remote eligible) Compensation: $5,000 per month Join TekBricks and contribute to building robust data infrastructure that drives business insights and innovation.
