We are seeking a GCP Data Engineer for a full-time role based in Santiago de Surco, Lima, Peru. This position is open to remote work.
Role overview
Build and support data engineering solutions using Python, PySpark, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and big data technologies. Apply dimensional data modeling principles and work with SQL, PL/SQL, and Power BI.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data engineering solutions with Python and PySpark.
- Use GCP services and big data technologies to support data workloads.
- Apply dimensional data models to organize and structure data.
- Work with SQL and PL/SQL and support reporting needs with Power BI.
Qualifications
- Graduate in Computer Science and Informatics or Systems Engineering.
- At least four years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar position.
- Required: experience with Python and PySpark.
- Required: intermediate-to-advanced experience with GCP.
- Experience with big data, SQL or PL/SQL, and Power BI.
- Demonstrated ability to understand and apply dimensional data models.
