Job description
About the role
Support data quality, documentation, and modernization efforts for the state's Licensure and Regulation System (LARS).
Tasks
- Lead the identification, mapping, and documentation of all existing fields in the LARS legacy system, maintaining a centralized data dictionary.
- Perform recurring SQL-driven data quality checks, identify anomalies, and collaborate with business units to improve data entry practices.
- Support legacy system modernization by reviewing source-to-target field mappings and participating in vendor testing cycles.
- Respond to help desk/ServiceNow tickets and execute SQL queries to deliver accurate reporting.
Requirements
- Must be a Tennessee resident.
- Advanced SQL skills for complex querying, data profiling, and integrity validation.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and data modeling).
Schedule
