This role defines the technical architecture for Happen Bank's data and AI platform, shared infrastructure that powers origination, marketing, credit decisioning, analytics, and AI capabilities across business domains. The role sets architecture standards, designs resilient patterns, and governs platform technology choices across CIO and CPTO teams, partnering with Data & AI Platform Engineering to translate designs into production-grade, cost-efficient systems.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the reference architecture for Happen Bank's modern data and AI platform, meeting enterprise security, compliance, and scalability requirements.
• Design and validate architectural patterns for data pipelines, storage, compute, and integration that balance performance, cost, and resilience.
• Govern shared data platform technology choices, aligning decisions across infrastructure architecture, security architecture, enterprise integration architecture, and release engineering / DevOps.
• Develop and enforce platform adoption standards for other CIO teams, including data modeling patterns, integration contracts, and security guardrails.
• Lead proofs of concept and technical evaluations for emerging technologies.
